Exhibition Dates: March 12 - April 4
The Salmon River Fine Arts Center is pleased to host the 30th annual Oswego County Student Art Show & Competition this spring. The competition was open to any student in grades 7 -12 living in Oswego County including public, private and homeschool students. This show exhibits exemplary artwork of Oswego County students and offers prizes for outstanding pieces. Importantly, it allows the community to see the amazing student talent in our schools. On display this year are 546 pieces of art from 385 students from 8 school districts across the county.
Works were judged on visual impact, originality and overall design and craftsmanship. Each student received a digital certificate for participation. Honorable mentions were given a ribbon. Approximately $2,000 in cash prizes were awarded, including an overall Best of Show plus additional cash awards for two age groups: grades 10, 11, and 12 AND grades 7, 8, and 9 in the following categories:

- Photography, First Place • Second Place • Third Place

- SRFAC Gallery Committee Award
- Salmon River Fine Arts Award
Exhibition. The show will be hung in the gallery of the art center for viewing from March 12 - April 4 and can be seen during gallery hours.
Pick up artwork. After the show, artwork can be picked up on Thursday and Friday, April 9-10, noon - 6 pm; and Saturday, April 11, 10 am - 2 pm, or by appointment.
